B2B

Leslie and me at the Bay to Breakers today. Ultimately there was more walking than running, but we still did it and it was fun. The funny thing is that everyone hypes that hill up so much I thought it was going to be killer (and therefore have been training on Marin—if you live in Berkeley you know what that means), but it wasn't hard at all. I mean, if I'd been sprinting it would have been, but to truck up Hayes along with a bazillion other folks wasn't nearly as taxing as it's been made out to be.

However, my suspicions that people are freaks has definitely been confirmed. Probably the best people watching I've ever experienced. And that's saying something.

Thanks to all of you who supported me in getting not only to the point where I'd even consider doing this race, but actually DOING it! Mwah!
